GENIA EVELINA is a sustainable women’s ready-to-wear luxury label. Embodying a soft romantic aesthetic, the brand offers garments with a whimsical twist on classics. Influences often come from cultural traditions, mythologies and folklore. Aiming to incorporate elements of artisanal craftsmanship to further the emotional connection between designer-garment-wearer.
Genia De Marco studied and graduated from Theatre Design at John Abbott College and Fashion Design at LaSalle College. Her scenography training set the foundation for storytelling as a method in developing thematics. With a special interest in print and textiles, she incorporates her painterly aesthetic in her work. After interning and working for several Canadian labels, Genia officially launched her namesake line in 2018.
